44. Backlight R channel

Intensity of the display backlight red channel.

Promote Control’s liquid crystal display has an RGB color backlight. You can choose any color or intensity for the display backlight by varying the intensity of the R (red), G (green), or B (blue) backlight components.

Choosing a lower backlight intensity results in a longer battery life. To keep the current backlight color, and vary only the backlight intensity, change the R, G, and B components proportionally until you obtain the desired backlight intensity. Changing any component without changing the others changes the color. Note that the button backlight color does not change.
