My GPS doesn't work. What should I do?

1. Make sure the connection between the GPS and the camera is properly oriented and secure.
2. Refer to your camera's manual and make sure the GPS option is enabled.
3. Refer to your camera's manual identify the location of the "GSP Icon".
4. Make sure the GPS switch is in the "ON" position.
5. If the GPS icon is not flashing then there may be a fault in the connection cable. 
6. If the GPS icon is flashing but not locking on make sure you have a clear unobstructed view of the sky.
7. Refer to your camera's manual and increase the length of the meter off setting in your camera. If the camera powers itself down before the GPS locks on to a satellite the icon will continue to flash. See an example with a Nikon camera here.
8. If the steps above do not solve the problem check the GPS unit on another camera or schedule a return of your GPS to us for evaluation and repair.
