2. Use a Separate Cable for Shutter Release

Set this value to "Yes" if you plan on using an optional shutter cable. This adds additional functionality to your Promote Control and makes the shutter release faster.

If this value is set to "Yes", and a shutter cable is not connected, the camera may not take pictures when requested. Make sure the shutter cable is connected and is fully inserted.
