Default: 1500 ms
This setting only applies when "Use a separate cable for shutter release" is set to "No".
Change this setting to fit your camera model when working solely with a USB cable (i.e., without a shutter cable). Shorter delays allow Promote Control to complete its work faster, but some cameras do not respond to USB shutter release commands as fast as others.
Do not change this setting unless Promote Control needs to take pictures faster, especially in "High Dynamic Range" mode. Use the following guidelines as a starting point:
•Some newer digital cameras may work well with 500 ms delay.
•Most newer digital cameras need at least 1000 ms delay.
•Older Nikon cameras need 1500 ms delay.
When this setting is too low, Promote Control may not be able to successfully take all the needed pictures in "High Dynamic Range" mode. If the camera take fewer pictures than expected in this mode, try increasing the setting.
