6. Advanced Operations: Setup Menu
Promote Control is an advanced, highly functional remote control solution that offers the flexibility to meet all your remote control needs. The Promote Control "Setup Menu" allows you to configure the unit and setup the workflow to match your unique situations. To access the Promote Control "Setup Menu", press and hold the "Left" button, and simultaneously press the "Right" button. You may also enter "Setup Menu" by pressing and holding "Left" and "Right" buttons simultaneously. The "Setup Menu" is a series of screens each of which controls one setup value. Use the "Left" and "Right" keys to move between setup screens. Use the "Up" and "Down" keys to change values displayed on the screens. When finished making changes, press the "Center" key to return to the mode setting screens. As with all Promote Control settings, the "Setup Menu" values are saved whenever the Promote Control powers down, and are restored each time it powers back on. Most "Setup Menu" values default to settings that work well in standard applications. Before changing any "Setup Menu" value, be sure to read the rest of this chapter to learn about all of Promote Control’s possibilities. The information in this chapter will help you can get the most from your unit.
